Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE)
Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialists (CVEs) provide comprehensive vocational assessment services to consumers with a range of disabilities, education levels, and work experience. The assessment results support job planning and placement across 10,000+ job titles in the United States.
To become a Certified Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE), you must be an active Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
How to Apply to Become a CRC-CVE: At a Glance
Step #1: Log in to your CRCC account.
- Click the “Apply for CVE Certification” link in the My CRCC Links section on your account page.
- Pay the application and CVE Certification course package fee — $600.
Step #2: Complete the CVE educational course package.
- Successfully complete the CVE certification online course package, focusing on the foundations of vocational evaluation, concepts and techniques, and applications and advanced techniques.
- Successfully complete each course section of the course package, including the learning activities and assessments.
Step #3: Complete the final capstone project that will be reviewed and evaluated by the CRCC CVE Advisory Panel.
- Capstone must be completed within thirty (30) days of successfully completing the full course package.
