Vocational Expert
STRATCOMM, INC.

StratComm is seeking a Vocational Expert (VE) to provide impartial testimony and expert analysis during disability hearings conducted by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The VE offers professional opinions on a claimant’s ability to work, considering their physical or mental limitations, past work experience, transferable skills, and the availability of jobs in the national economy.

All VEs contracted with StratComm must have their CRC (or ABVE) and at least five years of field experience to work under the contract and move forward through the suitability process.

Bilingual CRCs are highly sought-after and encouraged to apply.

Job Retention Specialist

The position will work with people with disabilities to help maintain employment through training and coaching. The position requires some training in person or remote, follow along, team meetings, and weekly contact with those employed. The ideal candidate would have experience working with people with disabilities in employment related settings. A master’s degree in rehabilitation or a CRC would benefit the candidate but is not required. The job would start at part time likely through November of 2026 and could then become full time with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off and other benefits. During training the job requires flexibility to attend on-line meetings, meet with individuals, and learn the grant requirements. The job can mainly be done from home, but may require some in person contact. The ability to accomplish tasks, be self-motivated and have problem solving skills a plus.

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

GLC On-The-Go is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitative Counselor with experience with Mental Health disorders for a full-time contract. This position is located at the NIH Clinical Center (CC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. The NIH Clinical Center is the largest hospital in the world totally dedicated to translational clinical research. The hospital maintains a 200-bed inpatient capacity with 18 outpatient clinics (including 3 day hospitals) to support the intramural research programs of the 17 Institutes and Centers with clinical programs on the NIH Bethesda campus.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience performing as a Vocational Rehab Counselor in a clinical setting.

Vocational Case Manager

Southern Rehabilitation Network is currently recruiting for a Vocational Case Manager.

The Vocational Case Manager is primarily responsible for providing vocational services to injured workers in an effort to identify vocational potential, exploring appropriate vocational efforts, guiding the client through the process and documenting progress. The Vocational Case Manager works remotely and has an established home office. Travel to various assignments and operating a motor vehicle are required.

Vocational Expert

The Vocational Expert Witness provides independent vocational evaluations and expert testimony regarding an individual’s ability to work based on education, training, work history, skills, and functional limitations. Responsibilities include reviewing vocational records, assessing transferable skills, preparing reports, and providing objective testimony in legal, disability, and workers’ compensation proceedings. The expert must effectively respond to questions from judges and attorneys and communicate vocational findings clearly and professionally. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday. 

Required Experience: 

  • Master’s degree in a related field

  • Workers’ compensation experience

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

The OASAS Vocational Rehabilitation Program is contracted through an MOU with partner substance use programs to deliver vocational services to individuals receiving treatment. Training and Development Specialist (Austin)

This position is in the office 3-5 days a week, depending on business/training needs

– Coordinate, prepare, and present specialized VR classes, train-the-trainer workshops, project meetings, and conferences for VR staff and service providers.

– Lead the coordination, research, design, and development of formal, complex VR curricula using approved department guidelines and project-management methodology.
