Homeless Veteran Community Employment Coordinator (Rehabilitation Counselor)

The HVCEC is embedded in the Homeless Veterans Program and is a central figure (liaison, advocate, technical advisor) responsible for bridging employment opportunities in the local community, complementing existing facility-based employment services, and coordinating vocational services within the Homeless Program. Vocational Evaluator

The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor position provides person-centered, strength-based services to participants, including HCBS Ongoing Supportive Employment, Education Support Services, Pre-Vocational Services, and Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

This position is located at the NIH Clinical Center (CC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. The NIH Clinical Center is the largest hospital in the world, totally dedicated to translational clinical research. The hospital maintains a 200-bed inpatient capacity with 18 outpatient clinics (including 3 day hospitals) to support the intramural research programs of the 17 Institutes and Centers with clinical programs on the NIH Bethesda campus.

REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 2 years’ experience performing as a Vocational Rehab Counselor in a clinical setting. Master’s in Rehabilitation: Will consider VRC, CRC, LPC, and LSW certifications.
