We’re inviting Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCs) and Certified Vocational Evaluators (CVEs) to record a short video sharing:

• Why you became a CRC

• What your work means to you

• Why the CRC credential matters

Your story helps elevate the profession and show the real-world impact of certified rehabilitation counseling

If you are an active Certified Rehabilitation Counselor or Certified Vocational Evaluator and you submit a video that follows the prompts and guidelines below, we will issue you 2 continuing education credits.

What to Record

Please create a short video answering 2–3 of the prompts below:

Suggested prompts:

• What inspired you to become a CRC?

• How does the CRC credential strengthen your work?

• What does being certified say about your commitment to individuals with disabilities?

• Why should others pursue CRC certification?

• What impact have you seen in the lives of the people you serve?

You do not need to answer all of them, but you are free to make multiple submissions.

How to Record (Simple Setup Tips)

You can use your smartphone or computer camera.

Please follow these guidelines:

• Hold your phone vertically (portrait mode)

• Face a window or light source (light in front of you, not behind you)

• Choose a quiet space

•  Look at the camera lens, not the screen

• Speak clearly and authentically. No script required!

If you prefer to use notes, keep them brief and conversational.

As we continue to heighten public awareness of this crucial profession, your stories will highlight the inspiring contributions you make while serving individuals with disabilities. That’s why we’re seeking your story as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.

Being a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and/or a Certified Vocational Evaluator Specialist is more than a job or a passion. It’s a journey—one that involves making meaningful contributions to the lives of individuals with disabilities every step of the way. CRCs working with clients on their professional and personal goals can yield many inspirational success stories.

Stories are powerful, from both clients and the CRCs providing them services.
