Created in 2024, the CRCC Emerging Leaders Network is a collaboration between CRCC and early-career Certified Rehabilitation Counselors and students all across the United States.

Member Requirements to join the CRCC Emerging Leaders Network
- Early-career Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRCs) in their first five-year certification cycle.
- Non-Certified Rehabilitation Counselors in their first five years of practice.
- Students enrolled in a Master Rehabilitation or Clinical Rehabilitation program.
- Interns in a Master Rehabilitation or Clinical Rehabilitation program.
- Displays a commitment and passion for rehabilitation counseling and wants to help share the future of our profession.
- Has a LinkedIn profile and is following the CRCC Facebook and Emerging Leaders Network pages and LinkedIn pages.
- Currently practicing in rehabilitation counseling.

Meet the CRCC Emerging Leaders Network Leadership Team
Megan J Baumunk PhD, CRC, CVE, LPC
Chair of the CRCC Emerging Leaders Network
Teaching Faculty & Practicum and Internship Placement Coordinator, University of Wisconsin – Madison
Megan worked many years in service and banking industries until the mid 2010s, when her career path led to human resources. While working in HR, she returned to school and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in human relations from the University of Iowa. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling in 2021 and her Ph.D. In Rehabilitation Counseling Education in 2024 from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Megan has counseling experience in AODA, behavioral health, disability adjustment, caregiver adjustment, vocational rehabilitation, and grief and bereavement. She also has experience in behavioral health case management and forensic rehabilitation.
