Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification Joins Tomorrow’s Workforce Coalition To Strengthen Economy
The Coalition supports the bipartisan, bicameral Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act (S. 722 / H.R. 1477), which would transform 529 savings plans from college savings plans to career savings plans, empowering Americans of any educational background, skill level or age to achieve their career goals that previously incurred significant cost. If enacted, this legislation would cover costs associated with the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential and its renewal.

CRCC and its Code Revision Taskforce are excited to announce that the 2023 Code of Professional Ethics for Certified Rehabilitation Counselors is complete and set to take effect on January 1, 2023. 2024 CACREP Standards Final Draft Available for Public Comment
The CACREP Standards Revision Committee (SRC) has disseminated the final draft of the CACREP 2024 Standards. It is extremely important that all CRCs review the standards in detail and provide comments, specifically as it relates to their revised rehabilitation counseling standards for the rehabilitation counseling specialty.
